Coaching Story
I had originally joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society®, Team In Training Program as a participant in 1998 and raised over $16,000 to help fight blood related cancers. With my strong connection to the cause and a love for running, my involvement quickly grew from participant, to mentor, to team captain, and finally to coach. During my coaching experience with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society®, Team-In-Training Marathon program, I successfully coached hundreds of athletes to and across the finish line.
Athletic Accomplishments & Daily Practice
My personal athletic accomplishments include completing Ironman Switzerland, Ironman Austria, over 27 full marathons and countless 1⁄2 marathons and shorter distance events. I have qualified for and completed the Boston Marathon on several occasions. In addition to running, I have a daily yoga practice. My love for yoga has grown significantly over the years. I find that no matter where I go, I am home on my mat.
Other Interests
My other interests include swimming, cycling, reading, traveling, volunteering, art, fashion, trends, technology, learning new things…the list goes on and on. What can I say? I find life interesting. Being a life-long learner, I am working toward my PhD in Depth Psychology.
Traveling
I love to travel. It opens me to new worlds and different points of view. One of my favorite trips was a month-long stay in San Marcos, Guatemala. Such a beautiful and spiritual place. Most recently, I spent several weeks in Thailand and Cambodia.
